Would silver and plum be good spring wedding colors if done in the evening?

Wedding is in March of 2009 In Nashville (which is unpredictable) and its outside. I still have nothing done and don't know where to start.

Would silver and plum be good spring wedding colors if done in the evening?
Contrary to popular belief, there is no rule anymore that certain colors are limited to certain times of the year. You can use anything you want anytime you want. Use Mother Nature as your guide. You see dark colors in summer and light in winter and there is nothing wrong with that, so why would a wedding be any different?
Reply:Spring colors...nope. Although, being that it is in March...close enough to winter and still cool outside...and it is in the evening...you will be able to get away with it. I have to admit that I see them as winter colors. However, this is your wedding and you should surround yourself with what YOU like and nothing less. Best wishes!

Reply:Your color choices sound very pretty.

I suggest you go do some reading at the Knot.

While you may not want or need everything mentioned at the Knot, it is a good place to start.

Follow their checklist. You may want to check out their budget calculator too.
Reply:Plum is nice, but ditch the silver. Pair the plum with a pink, dusty rose, or lilac, even a light yellow or peach - whichever matches the hue of plum colour you chose.

Even accessories!

Congrats!
Reply:Yes that would look good. But, I would only use little hints of silver. The first thing I would do is start writing down everyone you want to invite and then go from there.
Reply:it hink it sounds great. You can add white or ivory too so a more subtle color.
Reply:It sounds lovely.

Start on www.theknot.com or weddingchannel.com. They will help.
