Does anyone know the ratio of sugar to plums to make plum brandy?

use a hydrometer to get the the original gravity you need.....the more plums the more taste the more sugar the less taste.....try 50 / 50...see what OG you get and take it from there

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 1/2 lb Plums -- fresh; halved*

2 c Sugar

2 c Gin



*Remove pits In medium glass bowl thoroughly combine all ingredients. Heat

10 minutes on POWER LEVEL 7 (Medium-High) until sugar is dissolved,

stirring once. Continue cooking on POWER LEVEL 1 (Warm) an additional 30

minutes, stirring twice. Cover and let stand 3 to 4 days. Strain before

using
