My 4yr old swallowed one plum pit. Will it pass or is it dangerous when ingested? I know cherry pits are poisonous but only if you crack them open and eat a lot of them.

I don't believe it is poisonous, you might want to give him lots of water to delude it in his stomach. Also he might have problems with it passing making him constipated, watch for bowel movements if he gets constipated for more than 24 hours take him to the doctor. Good luck.
