Has anyone ever read the book/series Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich?

If so what did you think of them.

Has anyone ever read the book/series Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich?
Oh, they are so much fun! I've read them all from One for the Money through Twelve Sharp. It's a humorous change of pace from the Patricia Cornwell and Tami Hoag novels that I also enjoy. Evanovich's characters are wonderfully flawed, from the plus size, former ho, Lula, to the unbelievably sexy but unable to commit, Ranger, to the sexy, realtively stable Joe Morelli, to Grandma Mazur, who makes getting old look like a real hoot!

If you've never read them, get started right now! You are in for a real treat. Or try listnening to them on CD--the woman who records them is perfect for the job!!!
Reply:I love the Plum series! Janet's Metro Girl and Motor Mouth are good too...also some of her earlier writings are kind of funny but they're more romance-y.
Reply:Yes I have. Actually I read a lot and her books are so enjoyable. Glad that you like them too.
Reply:they were tremendous good fun!
Reply:No but you can read THE HOUSE ON PERI LANE by M.C. Duncan at http://www.lulu.com/content/129537 and I will like you for it.
Reply:I LOVE THIS SERIES! I seriously would love to create this book series into a t.v sitcom show! I can't wait for the next book! I just love Ranger and Lula. Mostly Ranger though, I adore his Merry Men too!

So who do you think should play the characters?
Reply:Nope, but are they good?

*Looking for interesting story books to read...
Reply:loved them! i find it funny that two guys answered this question lol
Reply:I have! I just got the new one for Christmas. I love the series. It is so funny. Evanovich doesnt take herself or her heroine too seriously. It gets tiresome with Stephany flip-flopping between Ranger and Morelli though.
Reply:yeah! i loved them!
Reply:I really enjoy Evanovich. I haven't made it through the entire series...yet. But I'm actually in the middle of a Stephanie Plum novel now! It's a fresh breath from the typical detective novels. A no BS, but with a sense of wry humor, single woman working as a bounty hunter. What's not to love?

And I really enjoy the Grandmother.
Reply:no thats a big no
