Can anyone recommend a good series of books similar to janet evanovich, stephanie plum series.?

I just love the stephanie plum series and ranger is sooo hot. I have one more to read but what can I go to next? I have read them so fast and I enjoy the mystery, comedy, and sex all in one book. what next?

Can anyone recommend a good series of books similar to janet evanovich, stephanie plum series.?
Sarah Strohmeyer's Bubbles series-- Bubbles is a hairdresser who wants to be a detective. The one where she pretends to be Amish is a hoot (Bubbles in Trouble.)

Liz Evans has a sort of British Stephanie-- the titles usually have some famous name in them, like Who Killed Marilyn Monroe? (Only Marilyn is a donkey. A male donkey.)

I also like Donna Andrews' bird series with Meg (We'll always have parrots is one title)

You might also try Evanovich's other series with Alex Barnaby. She %26amp; Stephen Cannell have a new book out in September, I think-- new series.

Happy reading!
Reply:i don't know what is like this series but i will certainly be watching this question for an answer! I love the books too, and that's the problem they are soo good that you read them ridiculously fast and then they are gone...i'm glad that she doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon
Reply:Suzanne Enoch has a series that I love:

Flirting With Danger-The Palm Beach Job should have been a slam dunk for the extraordinaire Samantha Jellico. But when an explosion throws her into the arms of her target, playboy billionaire Rick Addison, she has to review her rules to flirting.

The next two I won't tell you about because then you will know the outcome of the first one.

Don't look Down

Billionaires Prefer Blondes

I am waiting for the next one to be released. They have romance, mystery and comedy.

I also love the Sue Grafton series. It starts out with A is for Alibi (I think) and each book starts with the next letter. I think she has gotten all the way to S.

My all time favorite is JD Robb's death series. There are two really strong main characters Eve and Roarke that I love.
Reply:The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz
Reply:Same here I love all the stephine plum books but I need to catch up though.
Reply:I've had a hard time finding anything I like as much as the Plum series, but I found The Psychic Eye Mysteries to be pretty good! They're about a psychic named Abby Cooper who keeps ending up at the wrong place at the wrong time.

They aren't as hilarious as the Stephanie Plum series, but they're still pretty good.
Reply:Have you read the rest of Janet's work. Before Stephanie Plum she wrote several romance novels that are being rereleased.
Reply:Confessions of a Shopoholic - Sophie Kinsella, there are five books so far. Very funny, reminds me of Evanovich...
