If a prune is a dehydrated plum, how do you get prune juice from something that's dehydrated ?

Prunes are not dehydrated plums. Prunes are a type of plum. They are oblong shaped, whereas other types of plums are generally round in shape. Prunes have a high sugar content which makes them resistant to fermentation when dehydrating them in the sun. Because of this characteristic prunes were one of the earlier fruits to be dried. Prunes are often seen fresh at farmers' markets in areas where they are grown along side other types of plums. They are a delicious and juicy fruit when fresh.

So, all prunes are plums, but not all plums are prunes.

If a prune is a dehydrated plum, how do you get prune juice from something that's dehydrated ?
Boil the prunes in water with sugar or soak the prunes. Discard the stones. Put all in a blender. Drain all and you have your prune juice....................
Reply:You cook the prunes and get the jiuce that way but ewwwww its nasty. Love prunes, hate juice.
