every year i get hundreds of plums but when they ripen they tend to shrivel and have a light brown mould on how can i treat this organicly

Spray with copper sulfate, this is organic, it started out as mixing lime in a copper watering can.
Reply:They need a lot more water for a start and then spray them with an anti-mould preparation.

Reply:I too have trouble with shrivelling plums although mine is confined to when I enter cold water or if I'm out in a severe frost.
Reply:go to your garden centre and ask them for advice, they should have organic treatments for this.
