My daughter flushed half a plum down the toilet. Please help me to remove this clog. Can it be dissolved?

Leave it alone in a couple of days it will rot enough to flush down easily.

As mother says, go to Home Depot and buy a snake. A small one is only $15 and you ll be fixed in no time.
Reply:You may need to go to the hardware store and get a snake. It has a sharp blade and will follow the pipes when you hit the blockage the blade will cut through the plum so you can flush the toilet.
Reply:This can work. The plum is stuck in the "P" trap just below the floor (not far). If you have a Shop-VAC (wet/dry Vacuum) set it up for wet, and jam the hose as far in the toilet you can. Try that a few times.

I hate shi**y problems.
Reply:hire a plumber
Reply:was the pit in it?
Reply:Something that Large you will need to go get a toilet auger. It has a hand crank though a shaft with a curve on the end for the toilet. Made just for toilets. It is a mini snake that is operated by hand. This will get it thought the toilet and into the 4"or 6" main. It will break down from there.
