Is plum a good wedding color for the winter?

Im getting married and Im having the hardest time choseing a color theme.

Is plum a good wedding color for the winter?
Beautiful. It's deep and rich. Just what you want in a winter color.
Reply:I got married in December %26amp; went with teh seasonal theme. My advice is to go with whatever color will be abundant at that time. If its fall use fall colors, November use rust colors, December use red, green , blue ect...

It will make life a lot easier on you to use what is easy to get. Trust me. If you need help let me know!
Reply:Sounds pretty!
Reply:Plum would be a beautiful winter wedding color. Perhaps pair it with a beautiful sage green. They will compliment each other beautifully and your flower arrangements could be beautiful!

I think this is a nice change to the typical winter wedding schemes (ie: Anything and Red, Red and Green, Blue and Silver, etc). It's a more sophisticated and soft winter color pallet.
Reply:That sounds like a really WARM, cozy color!!!!

Reply:Absolutely! It is very cozy and rich, and yet girly and unique.
Reply:mmm....that sounds pretty. Plus plum is kind of a purple color which kind of ties in with the reason for the season. Silver would be a great accent. But make sure your dress matches silver. I love silver jewelry, but since I had an ivory and champagne dress I had to use gold accent jewelry. oh...the price we pay for the perfect dress! LOL!

I got married last November, so we had a fall theme. It was very easy to find decorations.

Congrats!
Reply:Yeah that sounds really nice. You can even bring out one or two more colors with it if you wanted to, like white, cream, or maybe a burgundy color. Good luck with the planning!
Reply:Plumb sounds very pretty!
Reply:Oh yes definatly!
Reply:I think its PERFECT for winter, it could be really pretty!
Reply:Plum is perfect!
Reply:That would a beautiful color for a winter wedding set off by white or sliver and even some lighter or even darker shades of plum. That's a very good choice as it is a color usually associated with royalty. Congratulations.
Reply:yes it is. very popular- but very pretty.
Reply:Plum is more spring for me. How about a light silver and dark rich navy?
Reply:Oooh, I like that. Maybe with some rich, gold accents as well...very pretty!
Reply:I actually think this sounds really nice... A rich plum would look really nice... what are your other colors? I'd probably suggest a cream color as one of your other colors... Since there aren't a whole lot of flowers that are "plum", you could go with all white or cream bouquets or something.

That's what I had to do with my wedding... our colors are royal blue, silver, and white flowers. Good luck, hun! I'm sure your wedding will be absolutely beautiful!
Reply:If purple is your color, then go for it! Asters are a purple flower that are popular in October. Traditionally, purple has been a royal color. So go for it!! Plum would be beautiful in the winter!! Pick a nice contrasting color to go with it. Maybe aqua or teal and white....
Reply:ya its fine

advance happy married life....
Reply:Plum is a gorgeous color. It looks great with gold or silver, with some pinks and blues, with ivory and soft whites, with a fair number of yellows and greens...it's a pretty versitile color that flatters a lot of women.

If you like it, then I say go for it!
Reply:i think plum is more for fall, but if you like that color go for it. its your wedding and you should be please with whatever you pick.
Reply:ooooooh pretty
Reply:I think that would be beautiful. You can match it with silver to give it a more wintery feel....very pretty!
Reply:PLUM what an excellent choice!! I think Plum goes really well with Silver and white. I was going to get married in the winter and I thought of the theme : the ice queen and jack frost .... I wanted to have plum as well. I keep thinking of icicles and snow, horse and carriage ride as the vehicle to take you to the wedding and then both of you to the reception, snowflakes and snow angels and anything that associates with winter - but not christmas!!

SO Think Plum is a very suiting colour

Good luck!
Reply:plum is good, so is blue and silver (or white)
