Will my dog be okay if she just ate a whole plum?

well it depends you left out the part if she ate the seed if she did she will have a tummy ache just watch her close ,i don't think this is real serious but just make sure she does not eat no more!! good luck be aware of diarrhea ,i am a real vet so you just got real advice !! also beware of blackish red poo that just means she had a little bleeding going on from the seed but its [again nothing serious] !if you have more questions e-mail me at bluejetsgirl@yahoo.com

She/he will probably get diarrhea. But dogs can eat vegetables and fruits and be okay.

Reply:The plum itself shouldn't bother her just be sure she passes the seed so that it doesn't lodge inside her which is potentially dangerous and life threatening if it blocks the intestine. How big is your dog? If she's a larger breed I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on her and if she starts throwing up, especially green puke or seems lethargic call your vet right away.

Reply:She might get a nice colon clense, but other than that she will be fine! Make sure you take her out to do business frequently for a couple of days.
