In my backyard, I have a plum tree. I also have a plum-eating squirrel. He climbs on the tree, tries out each plum (one bite...no good...move on to the next plum) %26amp; then when he finds one he likes, he sits there and eats it. I do not want to use pesticides or hurt him in anyway, but I don't want him damaging all my plums. Any suggestions on how to keep the squirrel away from the plums?? Thanks!
How to stop a squirrel from eating my fruit?
Well, if he is getting up your tree by the trunk, then how about putting an 'inverted cone', on the trunk, so that he cant get around it??
If he cant get up the tree, then problems solved.
But, if he isnt going up the tree by the trunk and some other way, try out this URL:

I wish you well..

Reply:Make a FRIEND not a FOE! Offer your little creature friend some nuts in the morning or P.M. when you return from work. Who knows you may find that you actually like each other and he will forget all about your PLUMS!
Try it and see what occurs!
Reply:well, ask a gardener, they might have some spray that doesn't harm the squirrel but keeps it away from the plums
Reply:If you don't want to harm the squirrel, then your only option is to either trap him yourself, or hire someone to trap him and move him away.
