Why do the plums on my tree shrivel up and die before maturing?

I moved a small plum tree and the first year it bore wonderful plums, but never since. Tiny green ones appear after blossoms, and then they shrivel and die. There is no visible evidence of infestation.

Why do the plums on my tree shrivel up and die before maturing?
Not all fruit trees "self pollinate" plum trees all need another to "cross pollinate" usually if you have two different varieties of plum trees, say satsuma and yellow plum they will cross pollinate but will not bear fruit every year, usually every other year. So go to the local garden centre or fruit tree farm and pick up another plum tree as the other tree in your area has probably died and there is no other to cross with yours. Prune plums are usually the only trees that fruit every year.
Reply:is your tree getting enough sun...?

fertilize and water more
Reply:You own one of the very rare prune trees. They were bioengineered at UCLA during the 90s and only 83 were known to be extant during the 2005 census. Your would be the first growing in the wild.

Let's face it: you're set for life.
