I have a plum tree in my backyard. There are alot of plums growing but the problem is the birds... they seem to be pecking on most the plums thus making it inedible for us. How can I stop these birds??
Plum tree - care?
We have the same problem with the saskatoons in our yard. The birds love them. What we do is put a bird net around them. The birds can't get though and we just go under it to pick the fruit. The only problem is birds tend to get traped in the nets so you have to go out occationally and untangle them from the net.
Another thing i have heard of is hanging little mirrors in the trees. The wind moves them around and the light shines off of them scaring the birds away. Worth a try. Could look kinda cool. Good luck
