I love the Stephanie Plum series, (and also the Metro Girl/Motor Mouth series), and whenever I read the books, I imagine certain actors and actresses in the roles.
Personally, I envision Stephanie Plum and her family to be similar, but a toned down version of Fran Drescher from the "Nanny."
Ranger reminds me of the "Rock" - darkly handsome,
muscular, etc.
Queen Latifah reminds me of Lula, even though Lula is much more abrasive and heavier.
I can't think of who Morelli is though.
Any suggestions as to which actor would best portray Joe Morelli?
Any Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" fans?
I like your casting, esp. The Rock as Ranger. Morelli is a tough one. I'll go with Nicholas Lea.
